We are looking for an intern that will work as Gallery Assistant at our Brussels gallery. We offer valuable hands-on experience in arts management and a profound understanding of day-to-day gallery operations. You will function as the first point of contact for visitors and will work closely with the Gallery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: welcoming visitors and be able to introduce them to our exhibitions
• Collect press on artists, assist with communication and mailing campaigns
• Assist in keeping the database up to date
• Assist gallery manager in drafting artist-related dossiers, press releases, CV/Bio, …
• Assist gallery manager in organisation of vernissages and exhibitions
• General upkeep and office management of the gallery space
